Rates & Insurance

Clear, upfront information about what therapy costs and how payment works.

Session rates

Sessions are 50 minutes and cost $200, for both individual and couples therapy. Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept credit cards through IVY Pay, a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment platform built for therapy practices.

Do you take insurance?

I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance companies directly. Many clients may still get reimbursed for a portion of their sessions through their out-of-network benefits.

Here's how it works: I give you a superbill, which is an itemized receipt with all the information your insurance needs. You submit it to your insurer, and if you have out-of-network coverage, they may reimburse you directly according to your plan.

To find out what your plan covers, call the number on your insurance card and ask whether you have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits, what your deductible is, and what percentage they reimburse.

Sliding-scale options

I keep a limited number of sliding-scale slots for clients for whom the full fee is a barrier. These fill up, but it's always worth asking. If cost is standing between you and support, bring it up during the consultation and we'll talk options honestly.

Your Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate explaining what your care will cost. I go over your written estimate as part of the informed consent at our first session, and you're welcome to request one at any time before then.

Questions about cost?

The consultation is free, and it's a good place to ask anything about fees before you commit.
